*Best* Of... So Far

Reflection: This page shows some of my best or favorite works, so far. This is going to be a work in progress for me. I picked what I thought were my favorites from this semester so far. During the semester I think a few things really stood out for me: The use of our body; sitting, standing, crouching all are things that I had maybe tried when snapping pics with an iPhone, but never with my Mirrorless Fuji. It was heavy, and sometimes awkward, and challenging at times. BUT, It was also rewarding. That is something that will probably stick with me (I used it much during the narrative project!) Another big learning curve for me was my camera itself. It was heavy, it was a lot of buttons to learn, and constant YouTubing to see "how do I do this again?" Thankfully the notes from class combined with the videos helped.Lastly, I liked the variety of projects. We weren't stuck just walking the streets, we had to use tools at home, we used props we had combined with some new creative ones, and I enjoyed that. I actually wish we could have had a few more assignments to just really perfect some of our works, but, I guess I have time for that in the next little while!I really wanted to emphasize best of "so far" because the plan is for this page to really grow. There are so many images that I am excited to capture over the next few weeks that I feel like I will be adding to this page very soon! With our first trip back to Canada in a few weeks I am excited to capture family moments and some scenes of 'home.'
